Carnival Cruise Lines has announced that the third in the Dream class ships will be named Carnival Breeze. Scheduled to enter service in spring, 2012 the vessel will boast a 300-foot-long corkscrew water slide, a lanai deck area expanded over the sides of the ship, an adults-only deck area, expansive facilities for kids and teens and deluxe family cabins with two bathrooms and up to five berths. High tech features aboard both ships will include the Fun Hub, a comprehensive intranet portal and shipboard social network.
From May to November, 2011, the second Carnival Dream sister ship, the 3690-passenger Carnival Magic, will debut with a schedule of seven-, nine- and 12-day Mediterranean cruises operating round-trip from Barcelona.
