Celebrity Cruises’ new Solstice-class ships are so popular that the cruise line is adding several of their most distinctive features to other vessels in the fleet. Celebrity Constellation just emerged from a 15-day drydock boasting a Tuscan Grille steakhouse; the Bistro creperie; a Martini Bar; a Cellarmasters wine bar and Gelateria. The ship’s staterooms were refurbished with flat screen TV’s, new furniture, bedding and carpeting.
Celebrity’s four Solstice-class vessels include Solstice, Eclipse, Equinox and Silhouette (entering service in 2011).
Following her current 7-night cruise through the Norwegian Fjords, Celebrity Constellation will present a series of 12-night Scandinavia and Russia cruises, followed by an 8-night Northern Europe and Mediterranean cruise from Amsterdam to Barcelona, where the ship will present a series of roundtrip, 7-night Mediterranean sailings, before a 14-night transatlantic voyage departing Barcelona November 6, ending in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. There, Celebrity Constellation will present two consecutive 14-night Exotic Caribbean cruises, prior to embarking on a 15-night Panama Canal voyage from Fort Lauderdale to San Diego on December 18.
