*** Azamara Cruises has announced that the 694-passenger Azamara Journey will sail on Caribbean and Panama Canal voyages from December, 2009 to mid-April, 20010.  Itineraries will range from  10- to 16- nights in duration.  On Panama Canal crossings, the ship will sail between Miami to San Diego while Caribbean cruises will depart from Miami. 

*** Princess Cruises will remodel Star and Caribbean Princess in order to incorporate some of its most popular features including  Piazza-style street cafes and a Crown Grill steak and seafood restaurant.  The updated atriums will include a wine bar, coffee shop and wine store.  In addition, Princess’ “Sanctuary”, a private deck area with a charge, will be added to the ships.

*** Oceania Cruises has increased its fuel surcharge to $10 per person, per day effective May 1, 2008.  The surcharge applies only to the first two passengers in the stateroom and not to third or fourth occupants.
