Last week Carnival Corp. said it was adding a $5 per person, per day fuel surcharge for Carnival Cruise Lines, Cunard Line, Princess Cruises, Holland America and Costa Cruises.  As expected, the rest of the cruise lines followed suit.

Norwegian Cruise Line said effective Dec. 1, 2007, it will assess a fuel surcharge of $7 per person, per day for the first two passengers in a stateroom and $3 per person, per day for additional passengers in the same cabin.

Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Cruises will add a fuel supplement of $5 per person, per day for sailings that depart on or after Feb. 1, 2008. The surcharge applies only to the first and second passenger in the cabin and will not exceed $70 per person, per sailing.

Windstar Cruises and Majestic America Line will add a fuel surcharge of $8.50 per person, per day on sailings through March, 2009 that have not been paid in full by Dec. 15, 2007.
