gas-pump.jpgOn April 17 we ran the story that Norwegian Cruise Line was increasing its fuel surcharge from $7 to $9 per person.  Today NCL announced that it will again raise the supplement to $11 per person, per day for the first and second passengers in a cabin ($5 per person, per day for additional passengers sharing the same stateroom).

The increased fuel supplement applies to new individual reservations made on or after June 20, 2008.

According to The Cruise Log, Carnival Corp. is advising travel agents today that its fuel surcharge will increase to $9 per person per day for all its cruise brands (Carnival Cruise Lines, Princess Cruises, Holland America, Cunard Line, Costa Cruises and Seabourn).

At what point will the rising surcharges make cruising too expensive for you?
