Avoid this ship like the plague, which is what you may get if you board her. My wife and I just, literally, returned from a 3-night cruise on the SKY. To say disaster is not giving enough emphasis. The Latitudes director, my wife and I are Gold level, could not apologize enough. The air-conditioning broke and had to be serviced in Nassau, in 100 degree temp, and then restarted. This proved to be quite a feat. Cagney's, the specialty restaurant, was abyssmal. The service was unbelievably poor and the poor waiter couldn't apologize enough about not being able to have the chef cook a filet to medium doneness. But praise needs to be given to the entire crew on this ship. They are trying harder than would be expected. A rumor was circulating that NCL is selling this ship at the end of the year and they added the casino to increase its marketability. If you are planning a trip or have booked a cruise on the SKY, rethink your decision and purchase a Spanish phrase book if you are not conversant in Espanol. BTW (By The Way) for those of you reading this thinking, Oh that must be a first time cruiser, my wife and I are Gold medallion holders on Holland America, Platinum on RCCL, and as mentioned before Gold on NCL.
