In Southampton, U.K. Cunard Line’s newest ship, Queen Victoria, was christened by Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall Monday, Dec. 10. Built at a cost of $1 billion, the 90,000 cruise ship will depart on a Mediterranean cruise before her 2008 world cruise. Visit The Cruise Log to get Gene Sloan’s first impressions of Queen Victoria.
