As lonely planet book said, Good things go bad, and bad went to hell. One have to check latest reviews. I have doubt that you are on the real Victoria cruise, because the ship Victoria Prince is supposed to be 5 star, and at least there is an native English cruise director onboard, and rest of the staff speak fairly good English. Anne, do you recall the cruise ship's name? is there a balcony in your cabin? There is actually another cruise company in China use Victoria as its cruise ship’s name, i won’t mention the name. I could never match that one, but *loved* the story about the phone call. Reminds me of the miscommunication my sister went through with her cabin steward in her suite on the Carnival Spirit. She left a note and asked him to leave the trash can out, instead of putting it under the furniture. What did he do? Took it. :-) *Great* story!
