Royal Caribbean has announced the names of its two Genesis-class ships: Oasis of the Seas (2009) and Allure of the Seas (2010). The names were selected from 91,000 entries in the “Name that Ship” in conjunction with USA Today.
When she enters service in the fall of 2009, the 220,000-ton Oasis of the Seas will be the largest ship ever built, carrying 5,400 passengers and spanning 16 decks.
