The bigger ships to me also offer more variety for things to do and see so by your recommendation I will have to look for a good deal for the Caribbean or Mexico (although I have done both already lol). To top that all off I am from Australia so I have the cost of the airfare as well and accommodation to consider. The Panama Canal cruise isnt on your list but what do you think of those prices for 2008 or even 2009? That is on my 'to do list'. Personally, I'd take a ship I wouldn't ordinarily take to get out of town for a week. But I wouldn't take a vessel where I know the food and service -- important to me, especially -- are dreadful.
